kalamata extra virgin olive oil



  • 750g prawns (thawed and deveined, the back should be slit)

  • 100ml OILINA olive oil

  • 10 medium-sized cloves of garlic (pressed)

  • 500g spaghetti (be careful not to use industrial wheat products)

  • 2 teaspoons of dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon chilli

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 4 tbsp flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt (no industrial salt)

  • 1 teaspoon salt (for cooking water)





Please use a coated pan for the preparation.


  1. Salt the prawns and season with pepper, chilli and garlic. Mix well.

  2. Turn all prawns in flour and throw away any excess flour.

  3. Heat a coated pan with 8 tablespoons of OILINA. Fry the prawns on both sides. Add OILINA if necessary. Set the pan aside.

  4. Put on the cooking water for the spaghetti and season with salt. Cook all dente spaghetti. Remove 1 cup of the cooking water and drain the noodles in the sieve.

  5. Heat the pan with the prawns on the stove quickly and hot. Add the pasta and mix with the basil. Add the removed cooking water and stir again. Switch off the stove.

  6. Add the rest of the OILINA and mix the pasta well, season with salt and pepper. Good Appetite!





Sprinkle the pasta with parmesan, and a rocket salad with tomatoes goes perfectly with it.
